Hailing from Los Angeles, Dawson Baca, a.k.a. Decibel, has been driven by music since birth.
He began playing instruments at age 4, dj'ing since '95 and just released his first vinyl along with
partner Jerga, a.k.a. Ghostpetal (Mexico/Berlin), this summer on their own label, Mineral.
Decibel has seen his sound evolve through time, learning, experience and the need to progress constantly. His style covers a wide range of deep, minimal, funky techno and electro sounds.
He has also played throughout Mexico, Italy, Germany, Japan, L.A. and Southern California and just
returned from Berlin after a 3 month stay, dj'ing and promoting the new record.
