Lesley Weinberger (a.k.a. Nurotika) has been influenced by underground experimental, industrial, and electronic music since the late '80s. When the techno scene exploded in the early '90s, she quickly became obsessed. Making her home back in Los Angeles after studying painting and design in Denver, Colorado, she began mixing her own unique style of underground house music. Nurotika invokes a moody, funkier edge of house music by mixing an array of influential tracks consisting of tech house, electro and breakbeats with deep house. Synonymous with her artwork, this meshing of different musical styles makes for harmoniously collaged compositions. Nurotika's unwavering passion for underground music, and her subsequent devotion to the scene, has prompted her to give back all that she has been influenced by artistically over the years.
