Sariah Storm (Sariah Sizemore). Soon after settling in to Los Angeles in July of 1999, doing spoken word performances, Sariah got involved with a local non-profit arts organization in it”Ēs beginning stages called The People”Ēs Art Project. Through this endeavor, she has hosted annual art shows displaying a multitude of artistic mediums, monthly performance evenings and art parties, such as MUSE, a 600 person multimedia\multicultural event held in downtown Los Angeles. After the success of MUSE, she produecd 3 events in Vancouver B.C with the local community there, where her dj career started, sharing her experimental poetry and music with the local arts and music scene. Sariah then moved to San Francisco, CA., where she found herself intrigued with the genre of IDM and began rocking dance floors with her experimental electro. In San Francisco, Sariah founded The Terpsichore Group, a collective of djs and live electronic music artists who are enthusiasts of experimental music and visual art. The Terpsichore Group hosts a bi-monthly event called SYNAPSE @ Laszlo in the mission every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Since her return to Los Angeles in March of 2003, Sariah Storm continues to produce events with the Terpsichore Group focusing on live New Media art and music. She hopes to invoke the ability in others to dive beyond ego or self - doubt and experiment with the talents humans are all given at birth.
